Storyline:
A Quiet Place: Day One commences at a hospice facility, where we encounter Samira, portrayed by Lupita Nyong’o, appearing noticeably frail. Upon learning that she is a terminally ill cancer patient, her emaciated appearance becomes clear. Reluctantly coming to terms with her fate, she appears resolute in spending her remaining days in desolation with her therapy cat until her cancer takes over. However, on one fateful day, her nurse and confidant, Reuben, played by Alex Wolff, decides to take the facility residents on a brief outing to New York City. Samira reluctantly agrees on one condition: they must make a stop for traditional New York pizza. Little did they know, it was not the best day to venture into the city.
