Storyline:
Taryn, played by Brittany Adebumola, has sickle cell anaemia, which has gotten worse over the past few years and seems to be becoming worse faster. It is Watson’s responsibility to get her health better enough for Mary to sign her up for an experimental trial. However, Watson chooses to take matters into his own hands due to the unique nature of her sickness and the unethical methods surrounding sickle cell treatment, especially the gene therapy possibilities that are out of reach for the typical person monetarily.
