Storyline:
The Long Game recounts a significant tale in the history of golf about a team of teenage Mexican Americans who are the underdogs and the challenges they encounter while trying to win. starts in 1956 in Del Rio, Texas, when superintendent JB Peña applies to join the exclusive Del Rio Country Club, which is exclusively white, putting his best foot forward. It is clear that his race is the reason he is not accepted into the group. Soon after, Peña gets to know some teenagers who play golf at his high school. With Frank, his brother-in-arms and former military buddy, by his side, Peña decides to start The Mustangs, a high school golf club.
