Storyline:
In a flashback scene that opened The Penguin episode 3, we learnt a little more about Victor’s lowly family and how they moved to Gotham City in search of better prospects. His father, Joan Ramon Aguilar, had made a good living in the community as a mechanic at a nearby business. Victor and his girlfriend Graciela were enjoying drinks on the rooftop of a nearby building on the tragic evening of 5th November when The Riddler detonated many explosives, wreaking devastation throughout the city. Victor’s parents perished after the blast ruined the neighborhood’s infrastructure and flooded it. Victor is still troubled by the incident, and Graciela was concerned since Victor seemed to vanish from the face of the planet following the catastrophe.
