Storyline:
In her first directing role, Anna Kendrick traces serial killer Rodney Alcala’s 1978 participation on The Dating Game. In the movie, Daniel Zovatto plays Alcala, a photographer who also had a much more sinister pastime as a serial killer and sexual predator. However, he was chosen as the winner of the actual show by Cheryl Bradshaw, the bachelorette from that episode. In reality, the two never went on their date together.
