In 1857 Utah, Sara Rowell and her son Devin arrive at a trading post in search of a guide to lead them to Cooks Springs, where her husband awaits. Within minutes, a violent confrontation erupts as men draw their shotguns and engage in a deadly exchange. This results in several fatalities due to a misunderstanding.
